Swiss Re recently obtained the 1st level Assess EDGE certification for its Zurich operations. EDGE stands for Economic Dividends for Gender Equality and is the leading global assessment methodology and business certification standard for gender equality. This renowned certification demonstrates Swiss Re’s commitment to build an open and inclusive culture where both women and men can thrive.
The EDGE methodology applies a business, rather than a theoretical, approach. It incorporates benchmarking, metrics and accountability into the certification process. EDGE assessed Swiss Re Switzerland on the following key drivers of gender equality:
